Our Story

Ham Choi Kitchen started with a love for bringing people together over food—specifically, crispy, flavorful wings that remind us of home. What began as a simple way to share a family recipe quickly grew into something more. Inspired by the Vietnamese dishes I grew up with and the memories of gathering around the table, we set out to bring those flavors to everyone.

Each bite is meant to be something special—bold, satisfying, and full of heart. Whether it’s served from home, through catering, or at future pop-up events, Ham Choi Kitchen is built on the belief that homemade food has the power to connect us, celebrate our roots, and create lasting memories.

Our Mission

Ham Choi Kitchen was born out of a journey of growth, inspiration, and a love for family and food. After losing my job, I found purpose in helping my little brother with his business, which sparked a deeper appreciation for the power of food and community. My recent trips to Vietnam taught me the importance of preserving food traditions, especially within the family.
 

With Ham Choi Kitchen, my mission is to share the homemade flavors of the meals my mom and grandma made–starting with crispy, bold chicken wings. As I grow, I aim to expand the menu, reach more people throughout the Bay Area, and eventually launch my own food truck to bring this experience to even more communities. Every dish is made with passion, culture, and a commitment to sharing the joy of great food.
